The Göteborg Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Nordic region and the premier annual meeting place for the Nordic film industry.

For this 49th edition, a delegation of Québec producers will participate in the event thanks to the support of SODEC.

QUÉBEC DELEGATION

Thirteen Québec professionals will take part in a mission to the Nordic countries. In addition to attending TV Drama Vision and the Nordic Film Market, the participating producers will make a stop in Copenhagen, where they will have the opportunity to meet Danish producers directly in their companies. Producers working on feature films will also join a networking event organized in collaboration with the Danish Film Institute.

LITERARY WORKS

As part of its presence in Sweden, SODEC has compiled a catalog of Québec literary works with potential for audiovisual adaptation and distribution in Nordic countries.

The goal is to promote local works while encouraging option agreements and co-production deals with Nordic producers.
